Lynae Fearing

Owner

Lynae Fearing was born the day after Kennedy was shot, so her alibi is pretty tight.

In true Texas fashion, her first job was at the Dairy Queen in White House, Texas. Soon after, she began working at Dick’s Last Resort, where she honed her people skills. Not surly enough, she moved on to a variety of other Dallas Restaurants, waiting tables, hostessing, and managing.

During that time, she was also a founding member of the modern dance troupe Moving Image – as if waiting tables wasn’t physical enough.

She was moving toward a career in corporate fitness when she met her (now) husband Dean, and realized she was in the restaurant industry to stay. They have two sons, Jaxson and Campbell.

Lynae’s grandmother’s oatmeal cookie recipe is the gold standard. You can eat them after you finish your vegetables.

Lynae and Tracy, both regulars at the former Yamaguchi’s, often talked about opening “a little taco stand” together. They would like to welcome you to the “little taco stand” Shinsei.
