TRACY RATHBUN

Tracy Rathbun brings with her over 20 years of restaurant and managerial experience. While pursuing her Psychology degree at the University of Texas at Austin she worked her way through school at the Lakeview Café, waiting tables and managing. Upon graduation she moved to Dallas where she was food and beverage manager for the Hyatt Regency.

For the next 14 years she moved from sales to General Sales Manager for Park Place Porsche and Boardwalk Porsche. As you can see, Tracy used her Psychology degree on a very regular basis.

A flawless hostess and avid art collector, Tracy and her husband Kent formed the Art Party Dallas, a yearly charity event supporting local artist and benefiting the March of Dimes.

She and Kent have 2 children, a son Max and a princess in the making, Garrett Leigh.

Tracy grew up in Corsicana, TX, the fruitcake capital of the world. Fortunately, for patron’s of Shinsei, her mother was into chocolate cake – which you can find on the dessert menu.
