It’s Memorial Day Weekend. Discover Delicious! We can’t think of a better way to get your holiday started than by joining us at Shinsei in the Bar for our Izakaya service from 5-6:30pm. As promised here are a few more tips on “How to Izakaya!”
It’s pretty simple. Order something to drink. Normally in Japan you order a beer. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t planning on drinking beer for the evening. In our case, it will give the kitchen time to get your first complimentary small plate on it’s way to you. Have a sip and then decide what you want to drink next, one of our select sakes, a Shinsei “saketini”, your favorite cocktail or wine by the glass/bottle.
Chef Jeramie’s amazing small plates will provide a delicious nosh and take a bite out of your late afternoon hungry. Our menu has so many great starters and inventive sides that can be shared as well if you're still feeling a bit peckish. We also suggest you tuck into some of Chef Shuji Sugawara's incredible offerings from the sushi bar.
Once you get into the “izakaya mindset,” the rest is easy and we hope you'll be enticed to make an evening of it and stay for dinner.
