Kent has been very gracious to share a recipe that we know you will cook again and again!

PIMENTON CRUSTED
KC STRIP STEAK
GRILLED SUMMER VEGETABLES

Ingredients

STEAKS
• 8 pieces Kansas City strip steaks, about 10-12oz each
• 1/4 cup Spanish olive oil divided into 2 1/8 cup portions
• 2 Tablespoons pimenton
• 2 Tablespoons Kent Rathbun Elements Steak & Chop Garlic Salt [ purchase online ]

GRILLED SUMMER VEGETABLES
• 32 spears asparagus, cut 2" long
• 16 pieces crimini mushrooms, cut in half
• 24 pieces red onion rings, cut 1/2" thick
• 2 large red bell peppers, stemmed, seeded and membrane removed, cut into large  
      triangles, approximately 1" wide
• 2 large orange bell peppers, stemmed, seeded and membrane removed, cut into
      large triangles, approximately 1" wide
• 8 roma tomatoes, stem removed and cut in half
• 16 pieces scallions, washed, trimmed and cut into 6" lengths
• 16 pieces of okra, stemmed, trimmed and washed
• 4 Tablespoons oil oil
• 2 teaspoons Falksalt Crystal Flakes, natural sea salt [ purchase online ]

Preparation

STEAKS
1. Place steaks on cookie sheet or sheet pan, cover with olive oil and rub until steak
    are completely coated.
2. Season evenly with pimenton and Kent Rathbun Elements Steak & Garlic Salt.
3. Cook steaks on a hot wood grill or char broiler until desired temperature is
    reached. I suggest medium rare.
4. Baste steaks with remaining Spanish olive oil for better flavor
    and beautiful presentation

GRILLED VEGETABLES
1. Place all vegetables in a large mixing bowl
2. Coat with olive oil and Falksalt natural sea salt.
3. Transfer vegetables to a wood grill and cook until they start to soften
    and grill marks are golden brown.
4. Remove from grill and serve.
